Welcome! This site is for people who want a straightforward path to deep understanding and connection in their relationships.

I'm Dr. Angelica Shiels, a licensed clinical psychologist passionate about helping people strengthen relationships by understanding themselves and their partners through the psychological principles of family systems and attachment theories. As children, we were all impacted by our families of origin and conditioned to respond to connection, vulnerability, and conflict uniquely based on our experiences. Examining how these factors follow us into adulthood helps partners build a foundation of understanding from which to practice new approaches to old problems and renew relationships. I started sharing all of this in reels and TikTok went wild. Thus, The Attunment Method,  my personalized approach to relationship coaching, was born.
